Job Summary: As a Nursing Staff member at Park Hospital, Mohali, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive nursing care to patients across various departments. You will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing compassionate care.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Patient Care:

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care based on individual patient needs.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor and document patient vital signs and progress.
  • Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
  • Assist with daily living activities, including hygiene and mobility.

  1. Clinical Duties:

  • Perform and document patient assessments, including physical examinations and lab results.
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans.
  • Manage and care for medical equipment and supplies.
  • Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a sterile environment.

  1. Patient Safety and Compliance:

  • Ensure patient safety by following hospital policies and procedures.
  • Report any changes in patient condition or safety concerns to the appropriate healthcare team members.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

  1. Team Collaboration:

  • Work effectively with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in nursing and hospital committees as needed.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and quality assurance activities.

  1. Education and Development:

  • Stay current with advancements in nursing practices and healthcare technologies.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
  • Mentor and support junior nursing staff and students as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
  • Registered Nurse (RN) or equivalent nursing qualification from an accredited institution.
  • Valid nursing license in the relevant state or country.
  • Experience:
  • Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
  • Experience in specialty areas (e.g., ICU, OR, ER) is a plus.
  • Skills:
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
