Really good doctors and co-operative staff , especially Dr. Shah, for knee joint replacement.

Good hospital, my wife got her knee replacement surgery here, the team of doctors is great, from nursing staff to attendants everyone is co-operative and well trained. All facilities are good.

Specially physiotherapy team also good Dr Vishva Patel , Dr Komal Vaghela & Anushree Shah all are good physiotherapist.

I am a physician in Dallas, TX, USA. I decided to get myself operated at Shalby SG by Dr. Vikram Shah, as his surgical skills and experience are unmatchable, particularly “zero technique” with which he operates. It causes less blood loss, less pain and quicker recovery. I underwent total knee replacement on 7th December, 2022, the day I landed at Ahmedabad airport! The blood tests, x rays, EKG, ECHO, lung function test, cardiology consultation – everything happened within less than one hour! This is unimaginable in USA. Within hours of surgery, I walked unassisted. The next day, I climbed the stairs! I never required any assistive devices to help me walk nor any strong pain killers.
All the ancillary services here are top class. Dr Shema Saxena and Dr Sanjay Patel were friendly and efficient medical officers. The physical therapists, Dr. Ankitbhai and Dr. Tyagi patiently and painstakingly worked with me to regain the range of motion. They were quite encouraging at the slightest improvement. Arpitaben, 7th floor nurse in-charge herself visited everyday and made sure, everything was in order. She updated me about plan of the day. Her team of nurses were very professional and polite. Chetanaben, the dietitian affectionately fed me food of my choice. Housekeeping services kept the room clean.
During my stay of 5 days, I even got my eyes checked and got new pair of glasses! I got a cap for one of my tooth fixed. In USA, these would have taken weeks of waiting and would have been 10 times more expensive.
I would strongly recommend Shalby SG to my family and friends, without any reservation. They are rest assured world class treatment in an affectionate and homely environment.
